August 12th, 2009 the Perseids are coming.  The Perseids is a meteor shower that part of the Swift-Tuttle comet that is left behind when the comet pass the sun.  The Perseids will only be visible in the northern hemisphere.  During the peak times you may be able to see 60 or more per hour.  So get out tonight and check them out.  Don’t worry though if you can’t see them tonight they will be back again around this time next year.
